Allison Mallowe, MA, RD, LDN
Senior Associate, Registered Dietitian
Allison completed her undergraduate studies at West Chester University in Kinesiology, teacher certification (K-12). Upon graduation, Allison continued her education for her Master’s Degree in Nutrition Education at Immaculata University. She completed her nutrition internship through Albert Einstein Medical Center (AEMC) where she also worked for 7 years (2001-2008). At AEMC, she worked with a number of populations including geriatrics, eating disorders and many other disease states. However, she found a passion for the younger population. She then began a career at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she has been working since 2008. Allison earned her Master’s degree at Immaculata University in 2009. She has worked in the Cystic Fibrosis Center and Lung Transplant Program up until early 2019 where she returned to her passion of eating disorders. She currently works in the Adolescent program at CHOP working in eating disorders. Allison has also immersed herself in collegiate teaching at West Chester University for ungraduate Kinesiology majors, since 2018.
Allison has a love of sports and all things athletic. She has completed in 6 marathons, all in Philadelphia as well as 2 sprint triathlons, in Avalon, NJ. In her younger years, she played on numerous basketball and softball teams. She is huge fan of all Philly sports; but closely follows the Sixers, Phillies and Villanova Basketball.
Allison has worked in eating disorder private practice in the past (2004-2007) and is now thrilled to be working for MNC nutrition.
